about the author: My name is Jaime, I'm 24, and I live in New Jersey. I graduated from The College of New Jersey with a B.A. in psychology in 2006, and in 2007 I got a Master's degree in clinical psychology/psychology in education from Teacher's College at Columbia. I work as a Teacher's Assistant at a private school, which basically means I teach math and social skills to a group of kids on the autism spectrum. To help cover my student loans, I also teach SAT/ACT prep part-time in the evenings. I've recently been certified to teach elementary school (K-5), so I'm hoping by June I'll be gainfully employed by one job, and will be able to move out of my mom's house and back in with my boyfriend Scott. I love my cockatiel Lori, yarn and knitting, spinning on my wheel, being crafty in general, riding horses, Bon Jovi, fuzzy animals, Harry Potter, my iPod, World of Warcraft, sleeping late, pizza, chocolate, and Coca-Cola. I'm also lurking in several forums, games, and other places on the web - the links page shows you where else you can find me. :)

about the site: I registered wingedorange.net in May of 2003, and mostly kept it as a blog. It hasn't changed much, except for the moves from blogger to MT to WordPress. This is basically a personal/knitting blog, and I like it that way. :) GoDaddy is my registrar and I get my space from Surpass.
